The summer heat has subsided and the pear trees at our Wilderness Orchard have Nashpatis which has gone from green to light tints of yellow. These organic pears are harvested using a pouch like a closed basketball hoop attached to a wooden pole. This will prevent the soft fruits from being crushed and spoilt. Nashpatis are not commonly grown fruits in India but this fruit comes with a range of health benefits. The fruit has a high content of fibre, good for intestinal ailments, aids in weight loss.
