Street play 'Outvoted' by IBTIDA the dramatics society of Hindu College at Goonj'19 organised by Shaheed Bhagat Singh Eve. College. In the intensely diverse demography of India, the only commonality tying all its citizens together is the essence of a democratic state; a vote thus becomes the proof and expression of one's identity in the socio-political milieu of our country. But when half of its population has either given up or remains blissfully unaware of the political scenario, and the other half lives in the delusion of being informed political citizens, feeding their ideological bubbles with disinformation and party funded propaganda, the dream of a true democracy becomes a delusion.
