Imagine students anywhere else in the world protesting a US$2 or US$5 price hike in their school fees? Only in India, were quality education is so heavily subsidised by the government and organizations. Yet, Indians go abroad and happily pay US$65, 000 a year for an Ivy League education! Hundreds of students and supporters, parents of students join the rally in the National capital demanding the revocation of fee hike in Jawaharlal Nehru University. Students with placards, Indian National Flag, Ambedkar's portrait walk the jam-packed highway along with heavy traffic.
