People were all excited when EVM's or Electronic Voting Machines were used for the first time in India, in an effort to prevent ballot stuffing in boxes, and rigged elections. People line up outside a voting center in a school compound, awaiting their turn at voting and getting to use an EVM for the first time! Elections and the dance of democracy are a big part of being Indian, after all! Volunteers from various parties sit outside. Some wear Congress scarves while others sit at the BJP help desk. Women come in wearing sarees and salwar kameez suits, to show their Voter ID card and proceed to vote. Officials check their local voter list to make sure everyone entering is named on the voting list, and no bogus voting takes place. Voter ID cards of each voter are checked in the local regist
