When it comes to Electronic voting, India undoubtedly is leading. Reports suggest that, in 2014,more than half a billion cast their vote on electronic machine. In 1988, government of India passed an enabling law which made use of EVMs constitutionally valid. This voting system is called a direct recording device where the voter has to visit a designated centre to cast their vote.
