This video gives you a wide shot of crocodiles or gharial (Gavialis gangeticus) Chilling in the Ramganga river taken from the cliffy High Bank which is situated on a high cliff above the river, after Gairal Forest Rest House, within Corbett. The gharial or ghariyal also called Indian gavial or gavial, is the only surviving member of the once well-represented family Gavialidae, a long-established group of crocodilians with long, slender snouts. The gharial is one of the three crocodilians found in India, the others being the Mugger crocodile and the Saltwater crocodile.
