Hordes of Rosy Pastors flock through Delhi in the early summer, as they head north on their migration. They make a pit stop of a week to catch their breath, enjoy the bounty of spring-time insects in Delhi, and get some shade and water to prepare for the long flight north of the Himalaya! A solo Rosy Starling on a tree branch decides to go on an all-out aggressive calling regime. It's just a single bird but making a lot of noise for sure. Adult is unique, a vision in glossy black and pale pink. Juvenile is brown with an orange bill. Breeds in colonies on steppes and winters in open and wooded habitats.
