Cyclone Amphan brought a literal storm to the coastal areas of the Bay of Bengal in May 2020 which resulted in loss of human lives and destruction of homes and property. Clearance work for removing uprooted trees goes on along with the drizzles and the cold winds at Hoogly in West Bengal. Cars and motorcycles wait for the road blockages to be cleared. Houses collapsed after strong winds and the wight of trees falling on them.
