Cyclone Amphan in the Bay of Bengal in May 2020 has claimed the lives of many and cause damage to the lives of thousands. In one such place, Durgapur in West Bengal disaster management officials clear a huge fallen tree amid heavy rains and strong winds. Uprooted trees are seen everywhere in the neighbourhood with residents trying to manually clear the fallen trees near their homes. Scenes of destroyed homes, crushed roof tins and even uprooted street lamps are common sights.
