P. R. Kumar Mangalam, Minister of Power, Indian Government speaks about the problem of electricity in the country. He says, "Ministry of Power, Indian Government key roles are Making new rules, Producing electricity and its distribution to states. In last ten years we didn't establish powerhouses we have planned to establish in fact we only beat 43% of target in the 8th five-year plan. We only managed to set up 16000 MW instead of 35000 MW. When I joined the department there was 18% difference in the distribution of electricity that's why we couldn't provide electricity to all. We are now managed to bring the difference to 12%."
