The Government provides water tankers refilled from ground water, to fulfill the basic needs to road-side dwellers who work the streets, as vendors. Kids come along and waste a lot of water to wash up using drinking water, letting it run onto the road... Others fill containers and take it back to their road-side tented homes where they live in the humid heat of Indian monsoon and summer.
