Rajiv Gandhi says "I have seen the problems with roads, communications, food, work, water, education and that is why we have started certain specific programs for tribal areas from the centre. From Delhi, we give grain in every tribal area at Rs. 1.85 per kilo. The next scheme that we are taking is that of drinking water, our target is that by the end of 7th Five Year Plan every problem will be covered with the drinking water scheme."
