Mahabharat mystery revealed! Tunnel where Pandavas escaped from Lakshagrah in 10th century BCE, in Meerut

This is supposedly the original Mahabharata era tunnel that runs underground to Hastinapur! Barnava is about 35 km from Meerut (Hastinapur) in Sardhana Tehsil of Baghpat district at the confluence of Hindni (Hindon) and Krishna river. This ancient village is ‘Varanavat’ or ‘Varanavarta’, which was one of the 5 villages that the Pandavas demanded from Duryodhana before the Mahabharata War. These 5 villages were as per the present name - Panipat, Sonipat, Baghpat, Tilpat and Varupat (Barnava). The Mahabharata era's Lakshgriha is a mound in Barnava village. There is also a tunnel here. The tunnel here opens on the banks of the Hindni River. The tunnel was made up of lacquer.
