A sea of brackish water stretches as far as the eye can see. Sambhar Lake, Rajasthan. Our wildfilmsindia crew appears to be walking on water as they wade deep into the lake which really isn't that deep at all, despite the impression it gives since one is so far from the shore. These are the early days of video exploration of India, circa 1992, in the first few years of Wilderness Films India introducing Betacam SP to the Asian market. We were filming Flamingos and Indian Coursers in the Sambhar Lake salt water bowl.
