In the great indian epic Mahabharata composed around 900 BC, there is a mention of Indraprastha, a city founded by the Pandavas on the banks of the river Yamuna. This city was Delhi. One of the oldest living cities in the world. Invaders came through the centuries and Delhi's monuments are tablets on which its history is written. 20,000 ruins and monuments are testimony to delhi's incredibly rich heritage.
