Jaggery making and consumption is a big deal in India and is one of the major producers of sugarcane-based products. We take a look at one of the vital process of extracting juice from raw sugarcane at a factory in Uttar Pradesh. A worker is seen using a desi juice extractor and feeding sugarcane into the machine which squeezes and separates the juice from the hard husk. This will be later filtrated and heated to a concentrated sold known as Jaggery.
