The sequence begins in the early blue hour when the mountains stand in soft silhouette and the trail is still wrapped in cold morning air. As the ascent continues, the sun slowly rises from behind the distant mountain ridge, sending a faint glow across the sky. For a moment, the sunlight breaks through clearly, illuminating the moving clouds and revealing the layered Himalayan slopes in delicate detail. But soon, the sun slips behind a thick bank of drifting clouds, creating a dramatic interplay of shadows and diffused gold.
