Akin to a Tailor Bird's leaf nest, this Ashy Wren Warbler also stitches together leaves - in this case two sunflower leaves - to make its leaf nest, and then line it with soft cottony materials in order to lay its eggs. Set in a field of Tithonia flowers, this looks like the ideal location for a Wren Warbler to build its nest, lay its brick red eggs and thence bring up its brood! No less adept at what it does than the Orthotomus sutorius or the Darzi Chiriya or Tailor Bird, this Ashy Prinia deserves as much praise for its nest building abilities as its more famous cousin!
