Well, these birds sure got the geometry and measurements, the coordination and the discipline right while swimming together as a flock. A flock of Common Coot or Eurasian Coot (Fulica atra) swims together inside Keoladeo National Park and looks like the commander has done its job right. With all the feeding frenzy and the water sports going on, they still remain to swim without breaking their assigned positions. The Common Coot is a member of the rail and crake bird family. The Coot is 42 cm long and is largely black except for the white facial shield. As a swimming species, the Common Coot has partial webbing on its long strong toes.
