The judiciary is also modernizing and we still have a blend of our value system and modernization. so apart from the computers we use, we also have the tape and it is used after the prior information and we record all the hearing. We should also change with the changing time and the changing needs of the society. That's why we started using the computers by the 80's but got largely used in the 1990's in the judiciary. now we have computers in 20 districts. This high tape recorder was brought in the 1990's. All the judgement are done in computers and the manual work is to do the signatures of parties and judges. we do not have any pending cases beyond 6 months- no backlog and it takes 3 to 6 months for the judgement. footage is part of the broadcast stock footage archive of Wilderness Films
