Tshering Dorji, working with Tourism industry is better than the Ministry of trade in Bhutan

Tshering Dorji stated in the interview that before he was working with the ministry of trade industry and later he found that working with tourism industry is better than working with the ministry of trade industry as there is more money. He joined the Bhutan tourism corporation in 1989. He is interested to build his hotel and he already started building the hotel in the year 1996. It is very difficult to construct a hotel as you need to find skilful labours, carpenters and others. You have to be financially strong. As the number of tourists has increased in the country, the govt is providing a licence to people and inviting better scope to the tourists.
