The snow-covered peaks of the Kedarnath Massif in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand as morning sunlight spreads across the mountain slopes. Clouds drift above the rugged, snow-covered ridges, revealing changing views of the high-altitude landscape. The mountain range rises above the valley associated with Kedarnath Temple, a major Hindu pilgrimage site dedicated to Lord Shiva. The Chorabari Glacier lies in the upper basin below the Kedarnath peaks and contributes to the headwaters of the Mandakini River.
