What a picture of change and development! The new India collides rather deliciously with the old... On the left lie, the farming fields along the flood plains of the Yamuna river while to the right life the newly crowded residential developments of Geeta Colony, Patparganj, Mayur Vihar and Laxmi Nagar. In between lies a fast highway and a metro train track servicing the Akshardham temple and the Commonwealth Games Village.
