Ghanta Ghar Meerut from a different angle. One can see Indian flags everywhere because of ongoing Republic day celebrations. Everyone is purchasing Indian flags. The shot is taken from a low angle with passersby moving past the camera. Ghanta Ghar or the clock tower was constructed here to mark the centre of the town. During the British period, many such clock houses were constructed throughout India. The clock piece that was initially installed in here was imported from Germany.
