Pigeon poop spreads disease and they often leave droppings on window sills of houses. How safe are pigeons to have breed on your window sills? A flock of Feral Rock Pigeon congregate at a feeding station at a sidewalk in New Delhi. A man is seen feeding them with store bough feeds. But how safe is feeding such large flocks of pigeons on a daily basis? Pigeons like this one congregate at the many feeding stations in Delhi and pet stores already have feeds in their shelves. However, these birds were meeant to fend and feed for themselves and hence dependency on human feeds has made them incapable of adapting on their own. The droppings and feathers of these birds have high chances of carrying parasites, microbes and are not the safest to be around. This footage is part of the broadcast stock
