Trekkers and local porters are crossing a temporary wooden log bridge over a fast-flowing Himalayan river near Harsil. The makeshift footbridge is constructed from rough timber logs placed across the rocky mountain stream to allow passage through the trekking route. Strong river currents can be heard moving beneath the bridge as people carefully walk across, carrying supplies and equipment. The surrounding landscape features steep Himalayan terrain, boulders, and cold glacial water typical of high-altitude trekking regions in Uttarakhand. Such temporary crossings are commonly used in remote mountain areas where permanent infrastructure is limited. The footage captures trekking activity, local transport, and the rugged conditions of a Himalayan river crossing.
