Most of Universal Studios Hollywood is situated on top of a hill, overlooking the San Fernando Valley. There’s a portion of the park, however, at the bottom of that hill, and the Upper and Lower Lots are connected by the Starway, a 1/4 mile stretch of escalators and walkways. If you plan on taking the stairs then total, there are 345 steps. That’s an 18-story building! The domed glass ceilings cover the escalators. The stairs are off to the side. Universal Studios Hollywood is a film studio and theme park in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles County, California.
