The video shows a flock of common cranes. Common cranes are winter visitors mainly to the north and the western part of India. Adult ha mainly black head and foreneck, with white stripe behind eye extending down side of neck; red patch on crown is visible at close range usually. An immature would have brown markings on upperparts with buff or grey head and neck. Flight call is a loud trumpeting krooah and on ground it has similar bulging calls including the kroo-krii-kroo-krii duet. It usually prefers places near winter crops, rivers with sandbanks, lakes and reservoirs. The common crane (Grus grus), also known as the Eurasian crane, is a bird of the family Gruidae, the cranes.
