Spring-time in Delhi means shahtoot time! We climb the trees and pick our fill, competing with the bulbuls, Barbets and Koels... These are the wild variety of mulberry and are smaller and sweeter, even tarty! Colourful fruit or berries and they are used as an antioxidant in food and beauty products. This is a Mulberry tree and fruits filmed up close. The purplish to red fruits are ripe while the greenish ones are the less mature ones. These fruits are also dubbed superfoods because of the high concentration of vitamins in the fruits. They are available in different varieties.
