wildfilmsindia visited the Zanskar and Indus river confluence in Ladakh, at Saspul - Nimmu sangam, in October 2022, and found this brilliant blue river confluence. We then drove up to Chilling where the Chadar trek starts, and heads up the Zanskar river up to Padam / Padum. The drive from Leh to Saspul largely traverses open plains. Zanskar river originates from the Himalayas, meets Indus river which originates from China and flows into Pakistan. Near Nimmu or Nimo in Ladakh is the point where the confluence between Zanskar and Indus rivers happens. A confluence of 2 rivers and 3 countries. Ladakh is a region of India in the state of Jammu and Kashmir and lies between the Kunlun mountain range in the north and the main Great Himalayas to the south, inhabited by people of Indo-Aryan and Ti
