Jungle Babblers and Golden Orioles call out in the verdant greenery of a monsoon forest in the ancient Aravalli range of Rajasthan, India. A panther or leopard sets about on the prowl, looking for Peafowl or other small prey. Having found nothing, it ends up in a tree, to escape the bugs and mosquitoes in the greenery below. It hopes to survey the ground better from here, and then descend when it has potential prey in sight...
