It is unusual for a Darzi chidiya to make a nest in a banana leaf as such a large leaf is tough to tame, but the tiny Tailor Bird has stripped the leaf sideways and turned the stripped portion inwards to stitch it together. Crafts and smart bird engineering! Shielded by the foliage of other trees and the banana leaves nearby, a nest of the Common Tailorbird is hanging on a banana leaf. A portion of the banana is used like a fabric to make the bird's nest. The insulation of the nest made of discarded fibres and bird feathers are seen. The bird leaves and comes back to the nest.
