Cuban oregano is a plant which belongs to the Plectranthus genus. This is a succulent herb that can be used in many foods to season them, as you would oregano or thyme. It has nice attractive thick, slightly furry leaves that also make an attractive accent plant in the landscape. Tropical tender perennial used mainly in Cuban cooking. Can reach 2FT high. Leaves release a very strong aroma when handled. Cuban oregano is a flowering herb / succulent perennial, it will last at least up to several years in its native climate.
