Police official says "Actually the parallel pipe that was dug and the second pipe had measurement issues which created a doubt that there maybe more than two pipes. We asked for a piece of equipment to confirm the same in which we attached a transmitter to it and passed it through the borewell. Through this, we have confirmed the actual situation and now we are praying for no more obstacles further ahead." A three-year-old boy, who has been trapped in a 150-foot-deep borewell for over 110 hours in Punjab's Sangrur district, was rescued on 11th June morning. The child was rescued at 5:12 am by joint efforts of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), police officials and local volunteers.
