Drive with us on this virtual road trip to Dochula Pass in Bhutan. As one gets closer to the top of Dochula pass, the north face sides of the road show patches of snow. Right at the top of the hill one can see some of the 108 stupas or chortens, as they are known as in the language of Bhutan - Dzongkha. Dochula pass is located on the way to Punakha from Thimphu. The pass is a popular location among tourists as it offers a stunning 360 degree panoramic view of the Himalayan mountain range. The view is especially scenic on clear, winter days with snow-capped mountains forming a majestic backdrop to the tranquility of the 108 chortens gracing the mountain pass.
