A Hanuman Langur, also known as a grey langur, is seen eating leaves while carrying her young baby close to her chest. The mother carefully feeds on green foliage as the infant clings securely to the front of her body for protection and support. The langurs display their characteristic long tails, grey fur, and dark facial features while resting and feeding in their natural surroundings. Leaf-eating forms an important part of the Hanuman langur’s diet, especially in forested and semi-rural habitats across India. The interaction between the mother and infant highlights nurturing behaviour and strong maternal bonding commonly observed in langur groups.
