Along flyovers in particular and where draining is poor or drains and sewers have been blocked by malba and mud, Delhi city seems to go under these areas, with accumulated rain water. Worse, potholes and hotels get concealed, sometimes swallowing up cars and pedestrians and at best tripping them up in the deep water. Cars, in turn, must plough through such ponds along our roads.
