Wildlife and mountain scenery around Jabbarkhet, near Mussoorie in Uttarakhand. An Indian spotted eagle (Clanga hastata) perches at the top of a conifer, its brown plumage illuminated by sunlight as it scans its surroundings and tilts its head upward. A close-up shows a female Chestnut-bellied Rock Thrush (Monticola rufiventris) with a grey head, an orange patch near the eye, and finely barred underparts. The snow-covered Jaonli peak in the Garhwal Himalayas rises above forested mountain ridges in the distance. Mist gradually moves across the rocky, tree-covered hillside and obscures the road below. The footage captures changing mountain weather, from clear views in sunlight to dense cloud and mist.
