Rajarshi Chakraborty has worked in Eastern Himalayas and Siwalik region for the past six years on species such as Red Panda and Tiger and also on resource management by local communities and human-wildlife conflict. Studied Forestry from Forest Research Institute, Dehradun and started career in Wildlife Institute of India. Mountain ecosystems have always fascinated him for their diversity, stunning landscapes and resourcefulness. Presently working in Arunachal Pradesh for conservation of flagship mammals. His talk will focus on the stunning diversity, ecological importance and amazing landscapes in the Eastern Himalayas and the animals that inhabit them.
