This small Lodhi era tomb, located near Hauz Khas Village and Green Park in South Delhi, is believed to have been built during the Lodi era, between the 14th and 15th centuries. ‘Chhoti’ means small, and ‘Gumti’ means dome, aptly describing this monument, with an area of just 8 square meters. The structure remains well-preserved despite having survived for centuries. The dome has arched entrances on the east, north and south sides, with the mihrab on the west. While this structure does contain the remnants of a grave, it is unknown who lies buried here, since there are no historical records about the monument.
