Sakri Gumti, near Hauz Khas Village and Green Park in South Delhi, is a lesser-known monument with no historical records about the gumti. The monument dates back to the Lodhi era and was probably built during the 15th and 16th centuries. The name of the structure literally means 'narrow domed building'. Since there is no grave inside the structure, it may have served as a gateway.
