Due to incessant rains, Jodhpur had to deal with flood fury in 2018. The conditions were so bad that all the vehicles were stuck and bikes were floating and in that flow, it took along with other bikes or people trying to hold onto their bikes. The Northern Limit of Monsoon also passed through Barmer and Kota, however, the city of Jodhpur bore the maximum brunt. Massive amounts of water fell on the hapless city and wreaked havoc on property. From valuable assets to livestock, the water carried off everything in certain areas.
