Incessant rain for the fourth consecutive day lashed Delhi , even as officials have started squabbling and civic agencies have blamed each other for the monsoon mess. Heavy monsoon showers flooded large swathes of the city and led to miles-long traffic jams, throwing life out of gear. Over 300 complaints about traffic jams and waterlogging calls kept the municipal corporations and Delhi government officials on their toes. The complaints, however, finally woke up the authorities with the civic agencies and the Delhi government ordering the senior officials to keep a tab on waterlogging and resolve problems on an urgent basis. The showers forced many drivers, rickshaw-pullers and two-wheeler riders to seek shelter under flyovers and under bus stop roofs, obstructing traffic movement. Source
