A waterlogged road near IIT Gate in New Delhi is being cleared after heavy rainfall, with standing muddy water covering a large section of the roadway. A Government of Delhi PWD maintenance van is parked beside the road while workers operate a heavy-duty water pump to remove accumulated rainwater. A thick yellow suction hose extends into an open drain or manhole as the pump transfers excess water away from the flooded area. Cars, SUVs and green-and-yellow auto-rickshaws continue to navigate the wet and partially flooded road, while a pedestrian walks along the less affected side. Dense green trees and a black roadside fence surround the area, adding a wooded backdrop to the rain-affected urban roadway.
