Sharks (superorder Selachimorpha) are highly aggressive carnivorous fish with razor sharp rows of teeth, with a full cartilaginous skeleton and highly streamlined body. They breathe underwater through five to seven gill slits.

Inside the tropical waters of the Indian Ocean at the Andaman, one can find a varied array of marine life inhabiting underwater.

Emperor angelfish (Pomacanthus imperator) Adults have yellow and blue stripes, with black around the eyes. It takes about 24 to 30 months for an emperor angelfish to acquire its adult colouring. They grow to 40 cm (15.75 in) in length.

Hydrophiinae, commonly known as sea snakes, are venomous elapid snakes inhabiting in marine environments for most of their lives. Except for the genus Laticauda, sea snakes are adapted to fully aquatic life and are unable to move on land.
