The Babo is a pole like structure typical of Apatanis of Ziro, which along with the Lapang is very important for every village in Ziro. The fertile land of Ziro gives a incredible yield majorly owing to the progressive techniques of the Apatanis. The Apatani, or Tanii, are a tribal group of people living in the Ziro valley in the Lower Subansiri district of Arunachal Pradesh in India.
