Holy Palden Lhamo Cham during the Torgaya / Torgya Festival in the Tawang Monastery which is at Tawang district of Arunachal Pradesh. In Palden Lhamo cham, mask has a bull nose indicative of her special status as the only female Dharmapala and has red hair. Palden Lhamo is the only female deity in the group of Dharmapalas. In Sanskrit she is called Shri Devi meaning Lady Goddess or Great Lady. Palden Lhamo is the Chief Protector of the Gelug (Yellow Hat) order. She is also a protector of the Sakya order, and the Dalai Lamas. Torgya Festival of North-East India is a three day monastery festival which is celebrated by the Monpa tribe of Arunachal Pradesh.
