The children of Manjushree Orphanage perform the 'Dance of Peace' at a cultural evening during International Yoga Festival organised by Parmarth Niketan Ashram, Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, India. Manjushree Vidyapith School and Orphanage was founded in 1998 by a Buddhist monk, Lama Thupten Phuntsok in Tawang. At the beginning there were just 17 children, now there are over 200 most are orphans but a small proportion are children with physical or mental disabilities. Parmarth Niketan Ashram in Rishikesh, India organizes the annual International Yoga Festival. The International Yoga Festival was originally a creation of Uttar Pradesh Tourism, in the days when Rishikesh was still part of Uttar Pradesh.
