Badrinath Dham is a Hindu temple of Lord Vishnu. One can reach there by road as there is good connectivity of road transport with Badrinath. The Badrivan is bordered by two mountain ranges named Nar and Narayan. It is one of the Char Dham sites. It is situated at the elevation of 3,133 meter. The temple was built by Adi Shankaracharya on the banks of Alaknanda river in the 8th century. There are four hot sulphur water springs Tapt Kund, Narad Kund and Surya Kund just below the temple near Alaknanda river. Every Year many pilgrims from all over the country come here.
