A woman wearing a light face veil (her chunni or dupatta, essentially), cooks Dal Bati churma in her open mud cooking stove. This all-Rajasthani dish is a three-in-one meal (baked baati with spicy panchmel dal and sweet crumbly churma) is both simple and delicious. She uses a belan to flatten out and chapatti type dough balls that are then turned into the bread component.
